Gr 6-8: The Edge

Edge is a Catholic middle school youth ministry program for early adolescents in grades 6-8. It is designed to meet the catechetical, educational, spiritual, emotional and social needs of young adolescents.

EDGE nights, which are what the sessions are called, don’t follow a typical religious education classroom style. Instead, they are run by a Core Team, who not only facilitate the small group break-out sessions but also present the EDGE night material in skits, games, and talks. Consequently, EDGERs (the 6-8th graders who attend) experience an evening filled with hands-on activities, both in large and small group settings, while they also get to know other catholic teens in a friendly, spiritual environment!
