Come experience God's love in a powerful way at our annual fall retreat. Meet other students and build relationships at this student-led retreat held at the lovely St. Joseph's Retreat Center in Edina, Missouri. Fellow students give talks and lead discussion groups. Awakenings 2010 will be held October 1-3, 2010. Cost is $45.
Lenten Retreat
Get away from the stresses of school and midterms! This Lenten retreat is a way to engage in your Catholic faith at a deeper level. Held every March before midterms, this retreat is directed by priests and other lay people to give all students, even busy leaders, time to take care of their spiritual lives. The 2011 Spring Retreat will be held on April 8-10, 2011 at Camp Trinity.
Busy Person's Retreat
Would you like to go on a retreat but find you don't have enough time? Every semester, the Busy Person's Retreat is offered for people just like you! Participants sign up for a time once a day, four days in a row to reflect one-on-one with a spiritual director. The retreat kicks off on a Sunday evening and ends on a Thursday. All sessions take place at the Newman Center. The fall retreat will be held October 24-28, 2010 and will cost $12. The spring Busy Person's retreat will be held March 13-17, 2011.
YGC (Young, Graduated Catholics) Retreat
Graduates and Young Adults face big questions like "What does God want me to do with my life?" and "What gifts do I have to offer?" Discerning one's next steps is always a challenge, but with the YGC retreat, participants have time to learn discernment tools and spend the time necessary to reflect with others facing the same questions. This is a day retreat held at a place in Columbia.
