Are you a graduate student or young professional looking for a way to live out your faith?  YGC (Young, Graduated Catholics) is the young adult ministry at the Newman Center.  We are a group who come together to strengthen our faith in Christ and our relationships with others.  We support each other in responding to the unique challenges of being a young adult in the world today.  All have graduated from college at least once and are 35 years or younger.  Contact Angelle at angelle.hall@newmancentercolumbia.org to join the YGC weekly email!

Monthly Dinners & Social Events
A fun time for everyone!  Every month, YGC meets at a local restaurant to socialize and meet new people!  Check the bulletin or weekly email for upcoming dates.  YGC also hosts fun social events such as Progressive Dinners and Murder Mystery Dinners!  Furthermore, YGC members can participate in the social events of the parish including Fat Saturday, Trivia Night, and Newman Week.

Service ProjectsYGC volunteers through the Newman Volunteer Corps (NVC) and has served at a local soup kitchen, the Ronald McDonald House, Central Missouri Food Bank, and more!  YGC is also committed to serving the needs of the parish.  Check the parish bulletin for upcoming service opportunities.

RetreatsEvery year, a special "for YGC only" retreat is held.  YGC also participates in retreats sponsored by the parish and graduate students may take advantage of retreats sponsored by the Catholic Student Association.
